Overview
Get Your Documents Legally Recognised in the UAE
A foreign certificate has no official standing in the UAE until it has passed through the correct attestation chain. IZZAT Documents Clearing Services arranges attestation of documents issued anywhere in the world so that they can be relied upon by UAE government departments, courts, employers and banks - and by authorities across the wider GCC.
We coordinate attestation at every link in the chain: the issuing home country's authorities, the relevant embassy or consulate, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), and the Ministry of Justice in Dubai. We regularly process documents through the Indian, Pakistani, US and British consulates in Dubai, among others.
Our approach is professional and transparent. Each quote separates the official government attestation fees from our own service charge, so you always know exactly what you are paying for - and our daily familiarity with these departments makes the experience quick and hassle free.

What We Attest
Marriage Certificate Attestation
Proof of a legal marriage - showing place, date and registering authority - must be attested before it can be used outside the country of marriage, for example for a UAE family visa.
Birth Certificate Attestation
Birth certificates recording place, date and parents' names follow the same chain of legalisation before UAE authorities will accept them.
Educational Certificates
Degrees and diplomas attested for employment visas, professional licensing and further study in the UAE.
Corporate Document Attestation
Company documents at MOFA, powers of attorney, board resolutions, bank statements and other commercial papers attested for use in Dubai.
Urgent Attestation
Priority handling at MOFA and the Ministry of Justice when deadlines are tight; international legs may need extra time owing to different working days abroad.
How it works with IZZAT
Home Country Attestation
The document is first attested by the authorities of the country where it was issued - for example where the marriage took place or the birth was registered.
Embassy Attestation
It is then attested by the embassy or consulate of the country in which the document will be used.
In-Country Legalisation
Finally the document is attested within the destination country itself - in the UAE, through MOFA and, where required, the Ministry of Justice.
Translation If Required
Where the receiving authority needs an Arabic version, we arrange certified legal translation alongside the attestation.
Delivery
The fully attested document is returned to you, ready for submission to any UAE or GCC authority.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my document need attestation?
Attestation is the chain of official endorsements that proves a document is genuine. Without it, UAE ministries, courts, employers and banks will not accept a certificate issued in another country.
What is the attestation chain for a marriage or birth certificate?
Three stages: attestation in the home country where the document was issued, then by the embassy of the country where it will be used, and finally legalisation in the destination country - in the UAE, via MOFA.
Can you attest corporate documents?
Yes - company documents at MOFA, powers of attorney, board resolutions, bank statements and other commercial papers are all part of our regular work.
How long does attestation take?
UAE-side attestation at MOFA and the Ministry of Justice can be expedited under our urgent service. Stages that run through other countries can take longer because of differing working days and consular schedules.
How much does attestation cost?
It depends on the document type and the countries in the chain. We provide a transparent quote that shows the government fees and our service charge separately - contact IZZAT to request one.
Which consulates in Dubai do you work with?
We routinely handle attestation through the Indian, Pakistani, US and British consulates in Dubai, and can arrange attestation involving most other missions as well.
